The Maserati Mexico owes its name to the President of Mexico, who purchased the very first example in the 1970s. Apparently, Maserati found this such an honor that they named the car “Mexico” in tribute.

This particular example has truly seen the world, from Sweden to Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, to Dubai, and back to the Netherlands. Once it returned, we undertook a complete (and we mean complete) restoration. Inside, outside, and mechanically restored by Real Art on Wheels, who spent two years transforming this into a truly unique Mexico, using only original parts.

The color is nothing short of mesmerizing: Blue Metallizzato. Paired with a beautiful, original beige leather interior and a walnut wood dashboard, this car is a feast for the eyes, and, in our opinion, still massively underrated.

Powered by a 4,719 cc V8 delivering 290 horsepower, this is a true driver’s car. Last year, our Mexico proudly took home second prize at the prestigious Marienwaerdt event in Beesd.
